The Gospel of the New Century is all about analyzing Neon Genesis Evangelion. It explains very thoroughly why the characters behave the way they do, like Gendo Ikari. When you read through this site, you'll realise the webmaster knows Neon Genesis Evangelion through and through, and understands it (almost) completely. You can learn a lot from this site ^_^.
Although there are other sites dedicated to decipher the true meanings of NGE, this site does not kill you with an overdosis of information, which I personally like better.
The lay-out and navigation of the site are a bit left behind, as there is no real menu nor any clear "extra's" to add some extra feel to the site. But I don't think it's important in this matter, cuz this site is more text than anything else.
As for this site seems to be made without the thought of getting a lot of hits, it's completely not screwing with you (not even an lil' banner or affiliate). That's another thing I like about this site ;).

Guide to Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of the oldest and best Neon Genesis Evangelion sites on the web. It's a very graphical site, and very easy to navigate. The lay-out is crisp and clear, and pleasant to the eye.
If you're an beginning Otaku, and you're searching for a decent Neon Genesis Evangelion site, this one is probably the first one you'll run into, and that's good for you ^_^. Although this site doesn't offer much multimedia or images, the information is excellent, and interesting to read.
There has been put a lot of work into the graphics of the lay-out, any webmaster with a relatively small website can envy its lay-out. The graphics aren't TOO present, and it are just the lil' touches that make it perfect.
The site's original in his own way, although there are so many sites about Eva so far. Also, this site isn't screwing with you either, and the only thing that could bother you are the affiliate banners below almost every page.
This site is the first site you must visit if you're new into NGE and anime online.

This is truly one of the most beautiful, original and most dedicated Neon Genesis Evangelion sites out there! Me, personally, I love the entire site ^_^. It's the idea behind the site which's the most original: a fan-fiction continuation of Neon Genesis Evangelion. This idea has been expressed in the creation of new tape covers, the introduction of new characters into the NGE story line, new angels, computer graphical images, animation videos... I was very shocked when I saw how far this has gone. They even have voice actors! But remember, EVA-R is not an existing series, it's just fan-fiction...
I forget it's fan-fic all the time ^_^.
The site's lay-out is awesome. They've managed to create an MAGI-like feel, making you believe you've just walked into a computer database (well, sort of). The graphics made to increase this MAGI-feel are very well done, and the navigation is logical. It's still hard to navigate trough the site though, but that's because there's a lot of content, not because the lay-out is so sloppy ^_^.
Bullshit rating is low too, because they're not throwing hundreds of pop-ups at you (I haven't seen one, actually), and they don't force you to vote anywhere (they don't need it).
This is the perfect Eva fan site, and even if you think you don't like fan-fics, visit this site, and discover your opinions revised ^_^.
